About Us
M&G Ranch Firearms Safety and Training LLC, is Veteran owned family business. With over 27 years of Law Enforcement experience and over 30 years of Military training and deployments. We have trained and instructed with some of the most experienced instructors, through various disciplines. We believe all training should be built on a proper foundation. Our focus is to provide that foundation by teaching and building on good safety practices, and basic fundamentals of marksmanship.

Wayne Montgomery is the founder of M&G Ranch and the lead instructor. He is a USMC combat veteran and has over 27 years of law enforcement experience. His experience includes being a member of a tactical team,17 years as a Tactical Firearms Instructor, Entry Operations Instructor, Use of Force Instructor, and several years of Executive Protection assignments. He currently holds certifications as a USCCA Instructor and a CA CCW Instructor.
Basic Handgun
Our basic handgun course is designed for the new gun owner and anyone new to firearms handling. The course will provide training with safe gun handling, transportation, storage, loading, unloading, and the fundamentals of marksmanship.
Intermediate Handgun
Intermediate Handgun course reinforces the fundamentals covered in Basic handgun and builds on that foundation. This course reinforces and refreshes all perishable marksmanship skills. Shooters will build on the fundamentals while moving and utilizing barricades. This course should be taken prior to the Advanced Course
Advanced Handgun
Advanced Handgun course will introduce skills and techniques that will benefit all levels. Course addresses unconventional shooting platforms, support side shooting, and a basic understanding of ballistics. Shooters will understand individual shooting abilities and specific firearms limitations.

Basic Rifle
Our basic rifle course is designed for anyone new to the AR/M4 Carbine style rifle. This course is focused on understanding the cycle of function, safe handling, loading, unloading, tactical reloading, malfunctions, proper shooting positions, and both fixed and optical sighting systems.
Basic Shotgun
Our basic shotgun course is designed for anyone new to shooting a shotgun and anyone who has never had formal training with a shotgun. The course is focused on safe handling, transportation, storage, and the loading and unloading process. It will address the different types of shotguns and ammunition.
Active Shooter-Critical Incident
This course is offered to help prepare your church staff and members in the event of an active shooter or a critical incident. It addresses planning and preparation as well as lockdowns and emergency response. This course is a USCCA certified course with the Department of homeland Security's Run-Hide-Fight doctrine.
Church Security
The Church Security course will assist your church with developing a new security program or structuring an existing program. It covers various aspects of security including authority, accident prevention, medical aid, first amendment auditors, and local resources. it incorporates security with ministry goals.
